Washington’s Bath - Berkeley Springs, WV
As much as I despise out & back routes, we didn’t start till after 1600 so we decided to make the best of the day and shoot down the interstate. I hadn’t been to George Washington’s Bathtub in over 15 years. I forgot how cool it was! In the 1700’s, the people were tiny!🤣 judging by the size of his tub… I didn’t bring any containers for the natural spring water because this was a spur of the moment decision since it was only 18 minutes from Oak Barrel in Little Orleans, MD. I’m glad we went even with the lack of back roads. We decided to make sure we come back when we have more time to explore the town and that really cool Swiss alps style house(?) on the hill! Overall not unbearably cold, a great day on 2’s!
