This is an amazing ride, col de l’Izoard is superb and Col de la Cayolle also. Much better road surface than previous days.

A spasso per la Savoia

Escursione termica di 20 gradi rispetto a ieri: dai 38 gradi (da sciogliersi sull'asfalto 🫠), a 18 gradi con una tenda di pioggia addosso 🥲 Savoia, Cormet de Roselend, Tignes, Iseran, Moncenisio, Sestriere e ritorno a casa... Curve a non finire...!!!

Started riding this morning however had to take a stop for a while due to my travel partner coming doing with Food Poisoning/Stomach Bug so letting him nap by the bikes as he starts to feel better.

Ride to Lyon - Part 2

Finally made it. Was a shorter day today but it was so broken up that it felt longer. Got a long stretch tomorrow of 450-500 miles so getting a well needed rest tonight. The descent from the alps was like a hot wheels track it was amazing!

Longer day today and found a spot to wild camp up in the mountain. A little weary of the wild animals that might come to us but hopefully we’ll hold out.

Both the Iseran and the Galibier are epic, some beautiful scenery along the way too.

Start in Thonon les Bains but there was a road blocked at the first col, restarted after this. Very bad road surface most of the day.
