Almost 200 miles in. I left Ottawa this morning everytwas good. 1530 this afternoon my bike starts making noises, I limp to the closest town of Mattawa, Ontario. No oil leaking but the dipstick is bone dry!!😖🤨 I meet a couple that knows this area better and offer to take me to the hardware store for oil. I clean them out of 8qts of oil with some spare… we say our Thank you’s and they take off. I put in 4.75 quarts! I go to start the bike and some heavy tapping noises heard. Another very friendly guy says it sounds like my pushrods are bent. Don’t ride it! An hour on the phone with AAA (CAA here). I’m waiting for the tow truck to get me to Sudbury where there is a Dealership and close by, my hotel. I need this day to be over!
