2025 Road Trip Day ?? - Eugene
Today was the first day I’ve felt like myself in a few weeks! I woke early (for me) and was on the highway at 0929! Today’s temps started out nice and ended at 100°! Not very fun… I did stop at an HD for chip and shirt. They were closed but the owner came in to help a customer. He let me in for a couple cold waters and to buy the paraphernalia! He didn’t have to do that… very cool of him!! Thank you! Starting early meant I got to the H.I. by 1722. Not a bad start for the week! I’m feeling with the ride, the heat, the hotel… let’s see if I can replicate this tomorrow…?! I ended with a seafood boil at Hook & Reel in Sacramento! Excellent crabs and shrimp!! I’m back at the H.I. so I’m gonna crash for another early day… it’s almost 400 miles to Los Angeles and I’d like to be there by noon - 1300.
