Bid sons birthday ride n camp, day 1

a beautiful day, exploring out neighbouring counties and camping by the sea. Past 11pm and the sky is still bright. Tomorrow is the summer Equinox, the longest day. Make hay, and memories while the sun ☀️ shines. Thank God.

From home to Broughshane for a meet. from there to Portbalintoy and the north coast. Then to Ballycastle for ice-cream before returning to meeting point for food. 48 bikes in total and a nice return run home.

Living Waters run.

Out to the coast along winding country roads no wider at times than 2 widths of my bars. Through town lands and villages and towns of renown. A pause for a coffee and a look at the sea before a Sprit led run up the Mournes to Spelga to see the moon rise over the water.
