Nothing near this warm since Thanksgiving, likely not this warm again till perhaps a random late January afternoon. Roxanne was happy, rumbling down lonely roads missing the company of cars crowding her in warmer months, past the houses their drivers are tucked into. The cold December sun, pushes her pale yellow rays through dark bare trees…the leaves gone now. But me and Roxanne are warm enough, and we smile as we turn home. We beat the timid sun in her race to dusk…one more in the books for 2025. 🌅
