Add friends

Tap Friends, search for a rider by name and tap Add to send a friend request. To invite someone who doesn't have Detecht, use Invite friends in Settings.

Find a rider and send a friend request

  1. On the start screen, tap Friends at the bottom.
  2. Tap Search for friends on Detecht at the top and type the rider's name.
  3. Tap Add next to the rider. It changes to Sent. To learn more about the rider first, tap their profile picture to open their profile.

The rider becomes your friend when they accept your request.

Add a rider you found on the feed

  1. On the start screen, tap Feed at the bottom.
  2. Tap the profile picture of a rider you'd like to get in touch with. Their profile opens.
  3. Tap Add to send a friend request.

Invite someone who doesn't have Detecht

  1. On the start screen, go to your Profile page.
  2. Tap Settings, the cog icon in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down to Services and tap Invite friends.
