Ride together in a Ride Session

Tap the Ride Session button on the map, then Create Ride Session, and invite your group with a link or QR code. Everyone shows on the map.

A Ride Session keeps your group together on a ride. You see every rider on the map in real time, and whether they're moving, standing still or taking a break, so nobody gets lost behind.

Start a Ride Session

  1. Tap the Ride Session button in the top left corner of the map.
  2. Tap Create Ride Session. The session starts right away.
  3. Tap Invite, then share the invite link or show your QR code for the others to scan.

Join a Ride Session

Open the invite link you got. If Detecht is on your phone, you join the session.

If Detecht isn't on the phone you opened it on, either:

  • follow the link to download Detecht first, or
  • open the link on a phone that has Detecht.

During the ride

Everyone in the session shows on the map, with whether they're moving, standing still or taking a break. There's nothing else to set up: join, then track your ride, with or without navigation.
