Turn on notifications

Allow notifications for Detecht in your phone's settings. On an iPhone, you can also tap the bell icon on the Feed, then Activate.

With notifications on, Detecht tells you when, for example:

  • someone sends you a friend request
  • a friend starts a ride
  • someone comments on your routes or posts

The app asks to send notifications when you first set it up. If you didn't allow them then, turn them on in your phone's settings.

Turn on notifications

iOS

  1. Open your iPhone's Settings.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap Detecht and turn on Allow Notifications.

Android

  1. Open your phone's Settings.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Tap Detecht, then Notifications.
  4. Turn on Show notifications.
