Download Detecht and create an account

Install Detecht from the App Store or Google Play, open it and sign up with your email or an account you already have, such as Google.

iOS

  1. Open the App Store and install Detecht.
  2. Open Detecht.
  3. Sign up with your email and a password, or with your Google, Facebook or Apple account.
  4. Follow the app's steps to finish setting up.

Android

  1. Open Google Play and install Detecht.
  2. Open Detecht.
  3. Tap Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook or Sign up with email, and follow the steps.
  4. Follow the app's steps to finish setting up. They include letting Detecht run in the background: see Keep Detecht running in the background on Android.

Create an account on the web

You can also create your account on the website first, for example to start planning routes before you install the app. You still need the app to ride with Detecht.

  1. Go to detechtapp.com.
  2. Tap Sign Up in the top right corner. On a small screen, it's in the Menu.
  3. Sign up with your Google, Apple or Facebook account. Or enter your email, first name and a password, and tap Sign up.
  4. Install the app and log in with the same account.
