Group ride to celebrate Vaila 30th. Great day out, lovely luncheon and to finish it off a cool evening ride back into town. Ride MT09 older model and have to say did not like the suspension to spongy, however grateful for the opportunity to ride the instructors bike. Day round trip from HB through the central plateau around Lake Taupo, lunch in Kinloch back to the bay. Finished off at one of boys local for yet another snack and drink! Fantastic weather, great company and damn good hoon on the bikes throughout. Home showered, washing on reflecting on the good and not so good parts of the day … otherwise awesome way to end the weekend! Onto the next adventure lads and ladies😎🥳

Day trip ride to Wairoa with the WhatsApp group. #Mixed ride #easy riding #no stress #a winter days out! They picked me up on the way and then I went into town for an ice cream and hot cuppa at Hotel de Son (my sons) before heading back into the hills and beating the rain that look like it wouldn’t leash anytime. Safe home with the fire roaring to keep the ole bones warm. Need to get out on the bike more during our winter and definitely sort the suspension along with purchasing new off road tyres. #lovingOurWinter #LovingTheRide + extra 77kms as the first record ride stopped at cafe🤦🏽♀️.
