Find and suggest Places on the map

Places are spots worth knowing about for riders, suggested by the Detecht community. Each suggestion is reviewed, and the helpful ones appear as markers on the map. Use them for ideas on where to ride, and as stops when you plan a route.

Ride to a Place

1. Tap the Place marker on the map.
2. Tap Add destination, or Add stop if your route already has a destination. Detecht plans the route there.

Drag the Place's panel up for more planning options.

Suggest a Place

1. Tap the map to drop a pin.
2. Drag the pin to the place you want to suggest.
3. Drag the pin's panel up and tap Suggest a place.
4. Fill in the details, such as the name, category, description and photos.
5. Tap Submit. If you added photos, they can take a while to upload.

Your suggestion is reviewed, and the Place appears on the map once it's approved.

Suggest a change to a Place

1. Tap the Place marker on the map.
2. Drag the Place's panel up and tap Suggest a change.
3. Change, add or remove what you want.
4. Tap Submit, or Suggest removal to ask for the Place to be taken off the map.

Your suggestion is reviewed, and the Place is updated once it's approved.
