Keep Detecht running on a OnePlus phone

In Settings, choose Normal clear under Recent apps management, and turn off battery optimization for Detecht.

When battery settings restrict Detecht, your ride may not be tracked. Change both settings below.

Set recent apps to clear normally

  1. Open Settings and tap Advanced.
  2. Tap Recent apps management.
  3. Make sure Normal clear is enabled.

Turn off battery optimization

  1. Open Settings and tap Battery, then Battery Optimization.
  2. Tap Apps not optimized and choose All apps.
  3. Find Detecht and make sure it's set to Don't optimize.

OnePlus 3: turn off Advanced Optimization

On a OnePlus 3, also turn off Advanced Optimization for Detecht.

  1. Open Settings and tap Battery, then Battery Optimization.
  2. Tap the menu in the top right corner and choose Advanced Optimization.
  3. Turn off Detecht.
