Keep Detecht running on a Samsung phone

In Settings, tap Apps, then Detecht and Battery, and choose Unrestricted. On Android 10 and 11 the steps are different.

When battery settings restrict Detecht, your ride may not be tracked. Follow the steps for your phone's Android version.

Android 12 to 14

  1. Open Settings and tap Apps.
  2. Tap Detecht, then Battery.
  3. Choose Unrestricted.

Android 11

  1. Open Settings and tap Apps.
  2. Find Detecht and tap it.
  3. Tap Battery, then Optimize Battery Usage.
  4. In the drop-down filter, choose All apps.
  5. Make sure Detecht is turned off.

Android 10

Turn off app sleep

  1. Open Settings and tap Device care, then Battery.
  2. Tap Battery usage.
  3. Tap Detecht.
  4. Make sure Put app to sleep is off.

Turn off battery optimization

  1. Open Settings and tap Apps.
  2. Find Detecht and tap it.
  3. Tap Optimize Battery Usage.
  4. In the drop-down filter, choose All apps.
  5. Make sure Detecht is turned off.
