For devices running Android version 7.0.0 and newer, check that your battery optimization is not preventing Detecht from running in the background:

From the app drawer, tap Settings.
Select Apps.
Find and tap Detecht.
Select Battery, then tap Battery Optimization.
Select Apps not optimized option and change it to :All Apps.
Find Detecht in this list and set to Not Optimized.
